Fiona Kerlogue, Peneliti Batik Jambi

Fiona Kerlogue pernah bekerja di Horniman Museum di London, Inggris, utamanya untuk kurasi koleksi-koleksi Asia dan Eropa. Ia Menyelesaikan pendidikan doktor di bidang antropologi di University of Hull pada 1997 dengan disertasi mengenai Batik Jambi, dengan judul “Batik Cloths from Jambi, Sumatra”.

Bidang keahlian utamanya adalah Asia Tenggara. Fiona telah melakukan penelitian di Kamboja, Thailand, Malaysia dan Indonesia. Fiona juga telah menguratori pameran dan melakukan kunjungan studi ke Rumania, India, Jepang dan China. Di Indonesia, wilayah kajian Fiona Kerlogue merambah ke pelbagai daerah di wilayah Indonesia.
